President of the UAE Cup in Moscow on Sunday
The President of the UAE Cup for Pure-bred Arabian horses, to be held on Sunday, July 4, 2010, at the historic Moscow Hippodrome, has seven runners going to the post in the 2400-meter race. The day will also mark the return of the 1600-meter Abu Dhabi Stakes. The Moscow Hippodrome was founded in 1834 and is the largest horse racing track as well as horse breeding research facility in Russia. Taleb Dhaher Al Muhairi, Secretary General, Emirates Equestrian Federation, said it has always been a joy for the Federation to see the Arabian horses running on Moscow soil. "I am thankful to the support of EEF Chairman HE Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan for his constant support and also for the Moscow organisers in making this series a success, as a result of which we keep returning to this soil every year.
